When and where is the Restorative Justice Summit?  

WV Wesleyan College in Buckhannon, WV on June 14th and 15th, 2024.

How do I register for the event?

How much does it cost to register for the summit?  

$300. Persons who cannot afford the fee may volunteer to assist with the conference and all costs (except transportation) will be paid by the WVRJP.

What is included in the registration fee?

Access to all event sessions 

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on June 14

Breakfast and lunch on June 15 +  event materials. 

When is the deadline for registration?

May 30, 2024

Will there be vegetarians/vegan/gluten free options available?

Yes! We are working with West Virginia Wesleyan College to ensure there will be a variety of choices available for those on special diets.

How are the event sessions formatted?

Blend of keynote presentations, smaller circle processes, and breakout sessions which include presentation style format and interactive format.

Who should attend these events?

The WV Restorative Justice Summit is ideal for community members, lawyers, peer recovery specialists, educators, social workers, members of law enforcement.

Are hotel accommodations included in the registration fee?

The cost of the hotel accommodation and travel is not included in the registration fee. Attendees are responsible for their own accommodations and travel costs.  Affordable dormitory style housing is available at WVWC, you may choose a dormitory option at registration. 

What is the dress code at these events?

The dress code at our events is business casual for all participants.  Meeting rooms can get chilly, so we recommend layers for your comfort.

Will there be networking opportunities at the event(s)?

Yes! We have set time aside during the conference for networking! We are also using the Whova app which is a great tool to use to collect and share contact information!

How do I pay for the registration?

Credit cards are accepted through the registration app, Whova. The deadline to register is May 30, 2024

How can I get an invoice for the event registration(s)?

A receipt will be emailed to you  immediately upon registration.

How can I cancel my order/registration?

While the tickets are non-refundable, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to another party.  Please email us at wvrjsummit@gmail.com at least 14 days before the event with the new participant’s contact information. 

What is the cancellation/refund policy for event registration(s)?

Are there any CEU credits offered for attending these events?

Yes! 10.8 CLE credits and 9 Peer Recovery credits have already been approved.  We are submitting applications for Social Work and LPC CEU’s.  Law Enforcement In-Service Hours are also available. 

When will I get my CEU certificate(s)?

You will receive an email verification, or certificate, within 1-3 weeks after the event.

How will I receive my CEU certificate(s)?

You will receive an email verification or certificate within 1-3 weeks after the event. You can then claim credit with your credential provider.

Is it true that Howard Zehr, Barb Toews, and Kay Pranis will be participating in the Summit?

Yes! Barb and Howard’s exhibit: Still Doing Life will be on display and all three will be participating via video and be able to answer our questions about Restorative Justice.
