In 2024, the West Virginia Restorative Justice Project will once again celebrate Restorative Justice Week. This year, we are excited to coordinate a state-wide community-building circle event. On November 20, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. throughout the Mountain State, we will gather to build our restorative justice community and position ourselves to imagine new possibilities. We will be using the format of the Restorative Justice Talking CIrcle to consider how restorative justice bridges our needs and resources in West Virginia. The events will include refreshments and a brief (10 minute!) presentation about restorative justice and talking circles by members of the WVRJP advisory panel before the circle is convened. The event is free, but registration is required!
